用手遊帶動觀光? Using Mobile Games to Boost Tourism?
Mobile games (手機遊戲) are very popular today.
People play them on the MRT, at home, and even while walking around the city.
Many games mix (結合) fun with real life places.
Some games ask players to move, explore, and work together.
Taipei may use mobile games to bring more people around the city.
Mayor Chiang Wan-an shared a new idea this month.
He says big mobile game events could help tourism (觀光).
The plan links three places in Taipei.
They are the Maokong Gondola (貓空纜車), the Taipei Children's Amusement Park (台北市兒童新樂園), and Taipei Arena (台北小巨蛋).
These places are far from each other.
Because of this, it is hard to promote (宣傳) them together.
To solve this problem, the city is looking at popular mobile games.
One example is Pok?mon GO.
In the past, Pok?mon GO events made players walk around many districts.
People traveled more to catch Pok?mon.
Mayor Chiang says these games turn the city into an adventure (探險之旅).
Players move from place to place.
They spend more time in Taipei.
This helps buses, the MRT, shops, restaurants, and hotels.
Another game the mayor mentioned is Minecraft.
Minecraft lets players build cities (建造城市).
One player even spent a year building the area near Taipei Main Station in the game.
The mayor thinks games are a strong way to attract young people (吸引年輕人).
He wants Taipei to work with famous game companies.
Together, they could create a "virtual Taipei" (虛擬台北).
In this virtual city, players could design parks and streets.
They could build neighborhoods (打造社區) and make walking areas better.
They could share ideas to improve the real city.
City groups are now working together on this plan.
They include education, youth, and urban design offices.
市府各單位,包括教育、青年,還有都市設計部門,正在合作進行這項計畫。
If it happens, playing games could also help shape Taipei's future. ________________________________ AI 成為今年的風雲人物 The Year AI Took the Spotlight

People used AI to write, study, draw, code (寫程式), and plan work.
TIME's editor said AI was everywhere in the news.
Business leaders talked about it when they spoke about the future.
Parents and teachers saw students using it more and more.
But AI also brings problems.
TIME pointed out several risks (風險).
AI needs a lot of electricity and energy (電力和能源).
Some jobs may disappear.
There are also worries about fake news and online attacks (假新聞和網路攻擊).
AI can spread false information (錯誤資訊) very fast.
Even so, TIME says AI is shaping (塑造) the world right now.
That is why the builders of AI were chosen.
In 2025, technology did not just change tools.
It changed how people live, learn, and work.
